Project Manager
Catrina Nieser is a project manager at WGU Labs, where she works behind the scenes to find efficiency, build operational frameworks, and connect people to outside resources. Equal parts systems thinker and team champion, she brings a quiet-but-mighty presence to every project — the kind that ensures both the work and the people doing it are set up to succeed. Before joining WGU Labs, Catrina spent more than two decades in healthcare, moving fluidly between bedside and administrative roles across a career defined by building things from the ground up. She founded and operationalized multiple neurodiagnostic units and most recently served as Director at a large neurology clinic where her team delivered the full continuum of care to patients. Throughout it all, the throughlines remained constant: systems thinking, iterative innovation, and a deep belief that the right operational infrastructure changes what's possible for the people it serves. Trina lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her dog Lulu, and can often be found exploring a national park, catching live music, or somewhere far from home experiencing a new culture firsthand.
