San Francisco has launched a first-in-the-nation tablet program that is completely free to all people in local jails. The program fits into ongoing efforts to lower the costs inmates bear while incarcerated. This article highlights the work one of our Accelerator clients, Nucleos, has done in San Francisco jails.
"Through a contract with Nucleos, a social issues-focused company based in Santa Cruz, the local jails will have access to approximately 1,400 tablets, more than enough to accommodate all inmates."
