Jay Bozman

Jay is an Investment Associate for the WGU Labs Accelerator. He is responsible for analyzing a pipeline of potential companies for seed round investment by the WGU Fund and narrowing the funnel down to recommended investments that are aligned with the priorities of WGU and WGU Labs. He is a higher education and business leader with experience helping organizations from various industries drive performance and solve problems by incorporating business ingenuity with strong relationship building. Before focusing on higher education, he held roles in corporate finance at Northrop Grumman and operations management at Target. Within higher education, he has worked in admissions, student affairs, advancement, and for two state education policy agencies in Tennessee. Most recently, he was a Director at EAB where he held multiple roles within the company’s student success technology and advancement marketing divisions. Before earning his M.Ed. in higher education administration from Vanderbilt University, Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from High Point University, and an MBA from Salisbury University. He resides outside of Washington, D.C. with his wife and son. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, working out, and cheering on his favorite teams.
